Service and Innovation Highlight SAMSCS 2-Day Scouting Investiture

St. Alexander M. Sauli Catholic School proudly held its 2-Day Joint Boy Scouts of the Philippines (BSP) and Girl Scouts of the Philippines (GSP) Investiture Ceremony on December 4โ5, 2025. Guided by the theme โService, Innovation, and Scouting for All,โ the event celebrated the young scoutsโ commitment to service, leadership, and community involvement.
This yearโs ceremony was made more meaningful with the presence of Mr. Alex N. Junio, Principal II, who served as the Investing Officer and Guest of Honor. In his message, he emphasized the value of discipline, camaraderie, and innovation in shaping responsible and future-ready Filipino youth.
Day 1 Highlights
The first day began with a solemn Processional followed by the formal Investiture Ceremony, where the Kid Scouts, Twinkler Scouts, KAB Scouts, and Star Scouts pledged to uphold the ideals of scouting. The morning celebration continued with a lively Troop Dance Presentation, showcasing the scoutsโ teamwork, creativity, and enthusiasm. A Friendship Lunch strengthened bonds among scouts, leaders, and teachers.
In the afternoon, scouts engaged in hands-on and fun-filled activities such as the Knot Tying Demonstration and the much-anticipated Amazing Race, which promoted problem-solving, cooperation, and endurance. As evening approached, the scouts prepared and shared dinner before proceeding to the Torch Parade, a symbolic walk representing unity and the guiding light of service. The day concluded with a memorable Campfire Program, where scouts gathered for yells, songs, and skits under the night sky.
Day 2 Highlights
The second day opened with a morning Prayer followed by an energetic Zumba session to start the day right. Scouts then prepared and cooked their breakfast, fostering independence and teamwork. A meaningful Community Chat and Reflection allowed the participants to share insights and experiences from the camp. The event wrapped up with packing and cleaning activities before the scouts excitedly headed back home sweet home, carrying with them new skills, friendships, and unforgettable memories.
The two-day event successfully embodied the spirit of the theme, proving once again that scouting continues to inspire young leaders who are ready to serve with innovation, compassion, and dedication.
