St. Alexander M. Sauli Catholic School holds First PTA General Assembly Brgy. Sapang Bayambang, Pangasinanโ St. Alexander M. Sauli Catholic School held its first Parents-Teachers Association (PTA) General Assembly for the academic year 2024-2025 at SAMSCS Gymnasium last August 23, 2024. Fr. Crisendo A. Dela Rosa, CRSP, School Director, emphasized the importance of parental involvement in enhancing the educational experience for students and the collaboration between parents and educators in fostering a supportive and nurturing environment for students. Moreover, he highlighted the various projects funded by Barnabite Fathers from Rome, Italy. He also expressed gratitude to the school’s external stakeholders for their consistent support of these initiatives that enable students and the school to provide high-quality education. On the other hand, Dr. Raquel G. Larang, School Principal, presented the implementation of Matatag Curriculum under DepEd Order no. 010, s. 2024 which was anchored on the MATATAG: Bansang Makabata, Batang Makabansa. She also discussed the class schedules that were aligned with Deped. While, Mr. Marvin Malicdem and Ms. Diane Mae Galela, Grade 8 Adviser and Kindergarten Adviser, explained the various school rules and policies concerning wearing uniforms, and punctuality. They also tackled the safety and security of the students during the dismissal period. Thus, the school will implement two official fetchers which will be given an I.D. as proof. They also urged the parents and guardians to cooperate with the school rules and policies to help the school develop in fostering a childโs mind the importance of respecting and following rules and regulations. Moreover, following conversations in an open forum allows parents to voice their questions, concerns, and suggestions. The school administration addressed various topics, including academic standards, extracurricular activities, and safety protocols. This session provided an opportunity for constructive dialogue, ensuring that parentsโ voices are heard and their input valued. The said assembly concluded with the election of PTA and HRPTA Officers.
